Analyst
Chandrakiran is an Analyst in the Climate, Environment and Sustainability sector at CSTEP.
He holds a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Cologne in Germany, specialising in Atmospheric Physics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from St. Joseph’s University, Bangalore.
Prior to joining CSTEP, he worked as a Researcher in the Troposphere lab at the Forschungszentrum Jülich, a member of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres in Jülich, Germany, where he worked on detecting trace substances in the troposphere as well as combating urban air pollution.
His areas of interest include climate modelling and impact assessment, low-carbon strategies, and climate policy.
