Consultant
Dr Bhavya A P is a Consultant in the Sustainability group within the Climate, Environment and Sustainability sector at CSTEP.
She completed her PhD in Agricultural Economics from University of Agricultural Science, GKVK, Bangalore. She holds an MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agricultural Science, Dharwad, and a BSc in Agriculture from the University of Agricultural Science, GKVK, Bangalore.
Prior to joining CSTEP, she worked as an Agricultural Economist at Gram Paathshala and Rural Mandi Fintech Pvt Ltd, and as Project Associate–1 at ICAR–NIVEDI, Bangalore. She has also worked as a Research Associate at CESP Department, ISEC, Bangalore, as an Assistant Professor at the College of Agriculture, Hassan, UAS, GKVK, Bangalore, and as a Technical Assistant (Agriculture) in the RDPR Department, Karnataka.
Her areas of interest include livelihood security, climate change, sustainability, and rural economy.
